From the moment they were founded until now, they have never had even the slightest ambition to govern—they cannot even dream of holding power.
The most noticeable part is that many of their leaders are utterly incompetent figureheads, manufactured by the intelligence agencies of the major ruling parties. They demand a transfer of power but are themselves the product of an oppressive system, all while hypocritically calling for democracy.
Real change in Kurdistan will not come through these hollow, so-called opposition parties. They are nothing more than political pawns and power brokers. The only forces capable of bringing meaningful change are Kurdistan’s two main political dynasties—history has proven that, under any circumstances, they will never willingly give up power or bow to the will of the street.
In short, these Islamic political parties exploit religion to manipulate the emotions of Kurdistan’s oppressed citizens. Behind their deceptive rhetoric, they stand on the exact same ground as the ruling party, sharing the same interests in every way.
