The Kurdistan Region of Iraq is divided into two zones: (The yellow zone) that the Barzani family and the PDK control all institutions، police، security، courts and They do whatever they want, and they make accusations against dissenting voices, activists, and brave journalists, and they are assassinated, imprisoned unjustly, or forced to flee the country and their supporters despite the existence of video and photo evidence that they terrorise people but they are not arrested and they roam freely and they are even rewarded and they are given more responsibility.
(The Green zone) of PUK is also the two sons of the Jalal Talabani who have taken over the courts، the police، the security apparatus and the Sulaimaniyah border and they can do whatever they want without being held accountable.
Despite the fact that the PUK is a member of the European Social Democrats, but on the night of August 21, 2025, it attacked the leader of the opposition in the People’s Front, (Lahor Sheikh Jangi) With 10,000 soldiers, by large and small guns attacked the house of Sheikh Lahor and Hotel Lalazar in Sulaymaniyah, killing 30 of Sheikh Lahore’s supporters, taking hundreds of people hostage, and damaging hundreds of cars and houses civilians.
The people of the Kurdistan Region have no trust in the courts and the armed militia, and That is why no one is sure of the safety of their life.
