The United Nations has designated December 20 as World Solidarity Day—a reminder that we are stronger together. Achieving peace, justice, and defending human rights requires unity and mutual support, much like a person tending to a wound, caring for every part of the body equally, without discrimination.
On this day, I want to offer a special “congratulations” to those parties who carry the word “Islamic” in their names, much like a truck dragging an oil tank behind it for profit 💰. Specifically, I refer to KIG, KIU, and IMK—the so-called Islamic Kurdish parties.
While their beliefs and politics are essentially the same, for years they have failed to unite or stand hand-in-hand. Their use of “Islamic” in their name appears less about faith and more like a tool to enrich themselves.
So what is obvious?
In ideology and belief, they are all Islamic.
In politics, they are all opposition.
Yet, they remain divided. Why? Because their personal pockets come before belief and politics.
This is why I call them not “Islamic parties of opposition”, but “Islamic dealers of opposition.” The betrayal of faith and political principles for wealth reveals just how corrupt and dirty belief and politics can become when treated as commodities.
