Under the shadow of the political policies of the KDP and PUK, the Kurdistan Region is heading towards an uncertain and dire future.
Despite the Region’s abundant national resources and numerous revenue streams, including agriculture, oil, gas, and trade, the people are still facing extreme poverty. Yet, these parties, in control of the government, continue to squander the wealth of the region without providing basic services such as water, electricity, or public infrastructure.
Most importantly, the citizens of Kurdistan do not benefit from the region’s wealth, as both the KDP and PUK remain neglectful of their responsibility to the people. This long-standing policy of negligence has led to an economy in disarray, where the people face widespread unemployment and a lack of essential services, while the ruling parties remain unaffected, continuing to steer the region towards an ever-growing crisis.
