We are living in an era of rapid technological advancement. Around the world, powerful nations are competing fiercely, using cutting-edge technology to assert their dominance. Among the most dangerous of these technologies are drones—advanced weapons that have shaken even the strongest countries and are playing decisive roles in modern conflicts, as seen in the wars between Russia and Ukraine, and Iran and Israel.
Our Lies!
In the Kurdistan Region, particularly among the ruling parties—PUK and KDP—the most advanced “technology” used to serve the people is not machinery or innovation, but lies and empty promises. These are deployed skillfully during election campaigns, party congresses, and political meetings.
It seems the regional authorities have mastered the art of deception, convincing many citizens that without them, there can be no Kurdistan. This notion is fundamentally false. The political leadership in the region characterized by illiteracy, tribalism, and outdated thinking has sustained its power through a few key strategies:
• Creating a permanent underclass to exploit as a tool of pressure when needed.
• Amassing private militias, Slavery, and personal power.
• Selling off the region’s wealth to neighboring countries in exchange for their own political survival.
These and many other actions have been carried out by the oppressive Kurdish political elite, particularly the PUK and KDP, all in the name of maintaining control over the region.
In the end, while their drones project power abroad, our liars at home cut off our people’s livelihood and drag us toward ruin.
