During the event, members of the organization reported observing individuals inside the Iraqi Consulate in Manchester monitoring participants from within the consulate premises. According to video footage recorded by Muhammad Murad Dakok member, an individual in formal attire was seen observing and recording the gathering from an upper-floor window while the President of the organization, Diyar Harki, was delivering remarks. The Dakok Organization expresses concern regarding this apparent surveillance and considers it a potential attempt to collect information about its activities. The organization believes such actions may be intended for reporting to authorities in Baghdad and Erbil. Dakok reaffirms its commitment to advocating for rights and freedoms and calls for respect for the rights of activists to carry out peaceful activities without monitoring or intimidation.
