Once again, the imprisonment of journalist Sherwan Sherwani has been extended by another four years and six months, under a political decision issued by a party-controlled court.
This is the law of governance by KDP and PUK, who have turned society into a chain of slaves under their command. The two parties have shackled the free voice and silenced the free pen. In this graveyard of justice, there is no law except the law of the parties and their ruling families. Tragically, in this lawless land, those who defend the rights of the people are arrested.
Nobody dares to say: “Ba’ath is dead.” The Ba’ath is alive in Erbil, their shadows today add another black stain on the bloody pages of history.
Beware of the yellow zone, its stance is frightening!
The KDP has made it impossible for even family members to leave their homes, while judges freely commit injustice!
How shameful it is for judges and governors to become worthless slaves and sellouts. In the face of such tyranny against the nation, the people of Hewlêr accept this injustice. Today it is Sherwan an innocent man. Tomorrow it may be you, the people.
Sherwan Sherwani has been imprisoned by the order of the Turkish masters of “Kurdistani” rulers. Until Earl Erdogan gives the command, he will not be freed. Yet Sherwan’s strong will is certain one day it will ignite a sweeping revolution against the tyranny of the leaders of the South.
As Farhad Pirbal once said: “Courts must themselves be put on trial, because the judges only wear yellow and green robes.”
The dishonor of authority and its dogs has crossed all boundaries!
If Sherwan Sherwani’s “crime” is compared to the crimes of selling out Kirkuk, surrendering Shingal, hosting Ba’athists in Erbil, bringing Turkish troops into the Region, and selling off the land and wealth to their own sons and grandsons then what, truly, was his crime?
We all owe this honorable man, who sacrifices himself for a nation and wages a struggle against a corrupt and oppressive authority.
