A joint environmental campaign to keep the city of Birmingham clean.

Today, August 26, 2026, Dakok Organisation, in partnership and coordination with Birmingham City Council, carried out a widespread field campaign to clean up the environment and collect waste and litter in the Moseley area.

This environmental initiative took place with the active participation of members from Dakok Organisation’s Birmingham Council. During the campaign, volunteers collected a significant amount of waste left on streets and in public spaces, packing it into dozens of specialised refuse bags for removal and recycling.

Beyond cleaning up the local area, the main goal of this initiative was to raise environmental awareness among residents; encouraging people to refrain from littering in public spaces and fostering a culture of shared responsibility. Protecting the environment is a collective human duty, and together, we can build a healthier community and a better environment for everyone.
