This conflict and turmoil that currently exists in Kurdistan is the same feudal warfare, but with new technology and under the names of green and yellow zones, parties, and movements!
From the latest events after the 1991 uprising, what bitter history remains for us?! Internal warfare, attacks on United Nations bases in Badinan by the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and attacks on the main headquarters of the Kurdistan Workers’ Communist Party at Girdi Ri’ayai in Sulaymaniyah by Newshirwan Mustafa, Jalal Talabani’s deputy, and the war of Kaka Hama and his brother, and attacks on Shawri by the black forces of the Patriotic Union, and attacks on the Harki tribe by the Zeravani forces of the Party, and earlier the massacre of the Sorchi by the Party, and on 8/22 the attack on the Lalezer Hotel, the main headquarters of Sheikh Lahur Sheikh Jangi, head of the People’s Front, by anti-terror, commando, and security forces of the Patriotic Union, and his arrest, and earlier the attack on the house of Shaswar Abdulwahid, head of the New Generation Movement, and then his arrest and creating a childish scenario for him, and before that the arrest of Ali Hama Salih and his companions.
It makes me even more confused!
If all these militias that exist in the Party and Patriotic Union zones and Kaka Hama’s area, under different names and under the command of different tribal, family, and party figures, had possessed free national sovereignty, abundant weapons and ammunition arsenals, advanced weapons manufacturing facilities, a strong independent economy, and powerful intelligence services within the framework of an internationally recognized state with the support of a silent nation like the current one, oh then what cold-hearted catastrophes and destruction and massacres like Gaza, Holocaust, Hiroshima, and Nagasaki would they have tested dozens of times on Kurdistan’s soil and against the innocent citizens of the Kurdistan Region itself?!
I can’t wrap my head around this paradox – the supporters and armed members of these parties are happy to build their personal interests on the corpses of the Anfal victims and party recruitment and receiving positions and salaries, wanting to become owners of permanent private interests, while they betrayed those who bled their blood, duplex and headquarters stained with the blood of tens of thousands during the mountain era when they had only a cave or valley, so that they wouldn’t make any more effort for the neighboring countries and wouldn’t spill any more citizens’ blood as fuel to protect their party, family, and clan interests. Now
Do they allow you, the supporter and naive one, to steal their interests by killing their men so recklessly while your head won’t be touched and you won’t be eliminated, and your disgusting interests remain protected?! Even your own leader knows this growth of yours and increase in your experience of killing men as a problem and will put an end to you! So now, hasn’t it become pointless to make efforts for those people who have no humanity in their blood, only betrayal?!
What’s important here is that you, the citizen, are only bound by not having a hand in creating fake heroes, harmful sycophants, reckless killers, and party militias.
You shouldn’t be happy that you now lean on a militia force and break laws as you wish for the party, thinking your head won’t be touched!
Even the heads of those leaders you’re proud of and who now display themselves like Hercules, thinking the path is paved for them to the end and they can’t be broken, will fall.
Until the Kurdish individual reaches the stage of awakening, it’s difficult for this disrespect of dignity to end and the era of peace to begin!
