The upcoming elections in Iraq are more than just another political event they are a test of our awareness, our courage, and our hope for a better future. For years, our people in Kurdistan have been waiting for a real change that brings justice, equality, and dignity to every citizen, not just those in power.
I speak honestly and from the heart I will not vote for the PUK (Patriotic Union of Kurdistan) or the KDP (Kurdistan Democratic Party).
Because after decades of ruling, what has truly changed for the people? Poverty still grows, opportunities are lost, corruption spreads, and the dreams of the youth fade away.
The same parties have built a system where loyalty to the party is worth more than loyalty to the people where connections matter more than qualifications, and promises are broken as easily as they are made. They speak of unity, yet their actions divide us. They speak of democracy, yet they silence voices of truth.
Kurdistan deserves something better.
We deserve leaders who listen to the people who work for the people, not for their own power, wealth, or family names. We deserve a government that invests in education, jobs, healthcare, and the future of the young generation, not in luxury cars and political palaces.
It’s time to stop rewarding failure.
It’s time to stop trusting the same faces that have betrayed our trust over and over again. The power belongs to the people, not to a few names that have ruled for too long.
Every vote matters every single vote is a message. When you vote, you are choosing not only a person or a party, but a future. Vote for those who believe in honesty, equality, and justice. Vote for the new generation that dares to dream of a free, fair, and strong Kurdistan.
Let this election be a turning point. Let this be the moment when the people of Kurdistan stand together and say: “Enough is enough.”
Let’s open a new page in our history a page written by the people, for the people.
