On Monday, August 17, 2026, members of the Birmingham Council of the Dakok Organisation conducted a widespread field awareness campaign in and around the city of Birmingham to protect public safety, based on official warnings regarding the risks of drought and outbreaks of fire.

Following the recording of several fire incidents in recent times, which caused significant property damage to citizens’ homes and residences due to dry weather conditions and negligence—our volunteer teams from the Birmingham Council executed the campaign in two main phases:

1. Phase One: Distributing informational leaflets and posters to citizens and passersby in Birmingham city center to deliver prevention messages to as many people as possible.

2. Phase Two: Delivering field-level guidance directly to the city’s neighborhoods and streets that are environmentally at higher risk of fire outbreaks.

Our primary goal is to reduce risks and protect the lives and property of citizens. Alongside this field campaign, we are publishing all crucial information and instructions on our official page. We ask that you follow these guidelines for your safety and that of your neighbors, and assist us in spreading awareness.
