In recent days, because of the suspension of salaries by the Iraqi government, Kurdish citizens have been deprived of their salaries, leading to conflicts where each side blames the other. Â
Moreover, when the Kurdish government previously received the budget, it was solely focused on hoarding the money, depriving citizens of their salaries under the pretext of “saving.” Meanwhile, it was entirely obvious that all that scarce oil was being exported and sold abroad right before the eyes of the citizens. Â

What has been most damaging is not just to the Iraqi citizen but specifically to the Kurdish citizen, due to the absence of responsible and accountable leadership to address their issues and rights.
