In recognition of Dakok Support Centre’s support for Kurdish culture and heritage through the Kurdish Film Festival in Birmingham, the organisation was presented with an Appreciation Award for its contributions to the festival. Dakok Support Centre believes that every appropriate mechanism should be utilized to convey the Kurdish people’s message of peace, love, and coexistence to the world. It is worth mentioning that Mr. Diyar Rzgar Qadir, administrator of the organisation, received the Appreciation Award on behalf of the Dakok Board during a ceremony held on the festival stage. Dakok Support Centre encourages members of the Kurdish community and the wider public to actively participate in initiatives and projects that serve and promote Kurdish culture, arts, and language.
