Peshaw Abdullah – Activists
I honestly do not know where to begin. I feel as though this man has lost touch with reason—his mind appears disoriented, yet he proceeds to deliver speeches with unclear messages, seemingly unaware of what he is actually discussing.
Just as during the referendum campaign, when he shamelessly manipulated the suffering of the Kurdish people—citing Anfal and genocide to appeal to the world—only to reduce the matter to a discussion about a baby bottle. At a time when people didn’t even have basic food, he spoke about the inability to provide milk for a child. What relevance did that have to the broader struggle?
Leaving that aside, in recent days, during one of his party’s internal meetings, several troubling remarks were made, including some particularly absurd statements.
First:
He stated, “We do not beg Baghdad for salaries.”
Let me clarify this. We have two choices: either we approach Baghdad to request salaries (which is not begging but rather a rightful inquiry on behalf of the people), or we ensure economic self-sufficiency.
Fine. Let us assume we had economic self-sufficiency. What did we achieve with it?
Other than cutting off salaries, suspending numerous development projects, and collapsing the healthcare and education sectors—and beyond that, a general breakdown of all key public services—what progress was made?
Second:
He said, “If anyone wants to leave us, let them go.”
I don’t even know how to interpret this.
You live in palaces, luxurious halls, high-rise buildings, and drive the most expensive car models, while at the same time, your people are struggling to afford even a loaf of bread. A father cannot afford a can of milk for his child. This level of arrogance is intolerable, and I must speak out through this message.
